Ways and Means

Grafton District - 12

I have lived in New Hampshire for over 50 years and in the Upper Valley for the past 4 decades. I have lived in Concord, Manchester, Hampton, Berlin and most recently in Hanover. I know NH well and appreciate all it has to offer and will work diligently to maintain the quality of the Granite States many offerings. I went to the College of the Holy Cross and then to Georgetown University School of Medicine. I am a retired Orthopaedic Surgeon who spent 30 years at DHMC and another 8 years at New London Hospital as Chief Medical Officer. I am on the board of NLH, the NH Prescription Drug Affordability Board and am a Director at the NH Fiscal Policy Institute. I have been married for 39 + glorious years to my wife Wendy, who works at DHMC as an RN/MEd in the department of Continuing Medical Education. We have 2 grown children, both of whom went through the public school system in Hanover and then on to Colgate University. They both currently live in the Boston area - my son is a lawyer and my daughter teaches middle school science. I am honored to serve in the NH House of Representatives and will try to focus my energies and experiences in the areas of affordable and accessible quality health care, equitable and quality education in our public schools and the preservation of our climate and environment for future generations.
