Rep Rosemarie Rung

Rosemarie Rung has served as a director for many local non-profits including the Nashua YMCA, the United Way of Greater Nashua, SEE Science Center, NH Partners in Education, Rotary Club of Nashua West, Public Relations Society (Yankee Chapter) and NH Partners in Education. She founded Laura’s World Fund, a 501(3)c organization which served underserved children locally and globally. Rosemarie is the recipient of the Wagner Award for excellence in science education by a non-educator and was recognized as a national finalist for the Kraft Disney Award for Excellence in Volunteerism. She is a Paul Harris Fellow. Rosemarie graduated from University of NH with a degree in biochemistry. Her career spanned several professions including analytical chemistry, corporate communications, and public relations. She is accredited in public relations. Rosemarie served over eight years on the Merrimack School Board, several of them as vice-chairman, and is currently a NH state representative.
Rosemarie and her husband have lived in Merrimack for 37 years. They have three adult children and two grandchildren. Rosemarie enjoys reading, gardening, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, crafts and spoiling her grandchildren.
