Hillsborough District - 8

I am a retired nursing administrator with more than forty years of experience advocating on behalf of New Hampshire (NH) families. I was elected to the NH House of Representatives from Hillsborough District 8, Manchester Ward 1 in 2018 and will start a second term once sworn in, December 2020 I am a member of the House Judiciary Committee, the Bipartisan Mental Health Caucus and the Hillsborough County Delegation.
My education as a nurse with a masters degree in health enabled long-term, professional employment within the Mental Health System as a Senior Leader. Following 25 years in mental health I joined the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) as a member of it's executive leadership team. While employed at the MHC I was responsible for emergency services, inpatient, day treatment and residential programming. Upon moving to DHHS, I oversaw Community Based Programming; ie Mental Health, Substance Use, Developmental Disabilities, Adult and Elderly Services and Quality Improvement. Throughout my career I have maintained community involvement to included the NH Developmental Disabilities Council and the New Horizon's Board of Directors.
