Rep Dan Pickering

Dan Pickering was born in Chicago, Illinois, but lived and worked in Holland, Michigan for 35 years. He was a teacher, coach, and administrator where he taught six different subjects, in six different grades. His most public accomplishment was to lead a community-wide campaign to install a local fiber optic network with a plan that won a National School Board Association award for excellence. He retired in 2004 and moved to New Hampshire with his wife, Sandra. In 2018, he was elected to be the New Hampshire House Representative from Hillsborough District 3 which includes Bennington, Greenfield, and Hancock.
